The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control rolled out an application and processing system for Visas, Permits,Passes and Certificates of Residence effective 1st July 2016
The Government of Uganda has reduced Visa fees from USD 100 to USD 50 with effect from 22nd July 2016. The Minister of Internal Affairs has issued statutory Instrument N0.13 of 2016 to effect the change.
The move is aimed at promoting the Tourism sector as we implement the newly introduced e-visa where we require applicants to apply, have their visas approved with notifications sent to them and visas issued at their borders and embassies.
DCIC has completed the development of an electronic application and processing system for Visas, Entry Work Permits and Passes and its up and running.
All persons intending to Travel, Study or work in Uganda should feel free to visit our E-Visa Portal: www.visas.immigration.go.ug and apply for the relevant immigration facilities.
As Government of Uganda prepares to roll out the e-visa/permit system, the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) is calling upon companies, organisations and institutions of learning which employ and admit foreign Nationals to provide infomation concerning their respective institutions for profiling. The infomation provided will facilitate quick and easy processing of immigration facilities as specified below.

pm from Monday to Friday.
