As Government of Uganda prepares to roll out the e-visa/permit system, the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) is calling upon companies, organisations and institutions of learning which employ and admit foreign Nationals to provide infomation concerning their respective institutions for profiling. The infomation provided will facilitate quick and easy processing of immigration facilities as specified below.
To profile an institution;
The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control would like to inform the under listed persons that their passports are ready for collection, at the passport delivery point, situated on Port Bell Road
Ministry of Internal Affairs headquarters. Please note that the deadline of the above activity is two months from the date of this publication 25th April 2016, and the office operates between 8:00 am to 5:00
pm from Monday to Friday.
Our esteemed clients,
The following passports which were issued by the Passport control Office, Kampala and are ready for issuing but have not been collected by their owners (for a long time in some cases). Please collect your passport from the Passport Delivery Office located at The Ministry of Internal Affairs; Plot 75 Jinja Road, Kampala (Entrance on Old Portbell Road).
Please write the corresponding Retrieval Code i.e. (FO-00001), File Number i.e. (INT/25726/12) and Names; and come in person with proper identification
The Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development under the Finance Act, 2015 makes provision for:
i. Increase of passport fees and introduction of passports process in two working days under section 3 of the Finance Act No 10 of 2014.

The Passport receiving and delivery centre at the post office building was opened with a view to implement provisions of Finance Bill for FY 2015/16 that caters for the establishment of express passports.
